Default antidepressents

im thinking about going to my doctor and trying to see if they will give me antidepressants My thinking is that they are libido killers and if i dont want girls, then i dont have to try to get them. im drunk and not happy, this is probably just a stupid drunk post, cause i am not stupid enough to use drugs to fix my problems even if they are legal.

The question is, are you depressed?

And no not all anti-depressants are libido killers. I think you would need the heavy-duty stuff to get that results - not recommended at all.

Medication is helpful for some people, but not everyone. The effects of libido are variable too, from drug to drug and person to person. Some people are not affected at all. Others who are affected find that if they chosse one with a short half life (amount of time in blood), they can reduce dose to relieve the sexual side effects eg. Prozac has a long half life. It's not common that they reduce libido, more commonly they delay or prevent orgasm.

It's all down to personal choice but if I were you, l'd try therapy first DA. There are other side effects of drugs too, certainly worth it if the depression is severe but they are not likely to be a long term solution anyway so if you do take them it would be good to have more sustainable help like therapy anyway. Let me know if you decide to and want help finding someone.
