What do you use as your computer Home Page?

How do you get to Lifesupporters? Do you type it in, store it in favorites/bookmark or keep a quick link on your desktop?

All you have to do in Google is type Lifesupporters and it comes right up. Cool huh?

BTW: I use Google as my Home Page.

I use Lifesupporters.com as my homepage and open up google through the google toolbar on the left.

I have to figure out where google finds it's site description because the one left for google doesn't seem to work. I wish they still listed by meta tags :bigsneer:

Thats the window that I made the google searchbar at the left open up to.

What I meant was that google defines Lifesupporteres as:

It should say
Lifesupporters.com, Online Community Support Forum for issues affecting child to adult, etc., etc., but doesn't.

I have to fix that and soon. I've been watching google bots crawl all over this site the past few days.

I think a person can learn to do anything if it interest them and they apply themselves. Sometimes....it can take hard work though and LOTS of practice.

The best kind of knowledge or skills don't come over night....but often through trial and error.

I can stop talking the site PR babble but would like to continue throwing it out there. The reason is that I'm constantly learning as well and everything is self taught. I had no help whatsoever and have prolly wasted more time than actually making it work for the sites advantage.

I feel the more random site info I throw out, the more it will educate you all for when you try to marked a site and build it up.

you should get AdAware, it can remove the spyware that sets your homepage to spam sites.

Mine is set to gmail.com because I always check my email first. I have a google toolbar in the top of my browser so I can always get the answers quickly.

There is a good one called Spy Sweeper, you can get it here: http://www.webroot.com/products/spysweeper/

It does cost $29 though, but if you know anything about Bit Torrent then you can find the program other places like suprnova.org if not then Ad-Aware is a good free alternative: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

Spybot Search and Destroy is a great spyware tool. It actually removes some of the spyware in Windows OS.

Ad Aware removes anything left by Spybot. You really should run both tools IMO.
