Default Your Country Flag

Do you have a copy of your country's flag in your home or on your vehicle. When you see it....do you sometimes feel goosebumps or get tears in your eyes?

no, I have no flag anywhere and I don't get emotional when I do see it. It's the norm the see the flag so it doesn't do anything to me emotionally.

I don't have a Canadian Flag outside my house and it doesn't give me goosebumps to see it either. I love living in Canada and wouldn't live anywhere else but I'm not orgasmic about it.

I think this is a trait seen more in the states actually, there's flags everywhere. I have to admit that it's pretty cool that so many in the US are so patriotic.

You can feel free to point out that this is only a correlation, but extreme nationalism and patriotism is also a hallmark of fascism.

Not for everyone though, in fact I'd hope that's the minority.

It's more just me pointing it out. Fascism is noted for extreme nationalism and/or racism, violence, propaganda, and censorship, and for giving power to corporations. Among other things. America is not fascist, but occasionally you can see some elements of a proto-fascism.
