Your avatar
When you register at a forum and pick an avatar, do you try to pick an avatar that most closely matches some portion of your personality or do you simply pick what you believe is the best looking eye candy?
Do you use your forum signature for the same purposes?
Whenever possible I try to pick an avatar that I think looks great but also says something about my personality. As for the signature I use it as an area to promote ideas I believe in but not necessarily reflect any aspect of my personality.

Re: Your avatar
Avatar - I usually look through a lot of pictures and just pick the one that strikes my fancy the most that day. If I have time, I like to change it as much as I can.
Signature - Sometimes I match the avatar just because it looks nice or reserve the sig for promotional purposes. I leave it blank mostly now because I've been told it annoys some readers.

Re: Your avatar
I don't think I'd worry about your sig around here, nobody seems to get too wound up over my monstrous sig so it's a non issue.

Re: Your avatar
I am not too hassled about picking avatars. I actually created quite a stir at one forum by having a "kinky" avatar.
Quotes / signatures. Rarely change them. They say alot about me.

Re: Your avatar
I just pick one I like and they are usually related to things I like. Sometimes depends on my mood at the time. I will change them when I get bored or someone else is using the same one. My signature is just how I feel at the time too.

Strange I am quoting myself, but I actually changed the signature, for the first time in 12 months, if not longer. Come to think of it, today (5th) 3 years ago I joined here.

Re: Your avatar
I pick an avatar according to my mood! I feel Peaceful these days having worked out my problems! If I'm in a crazy mood, I pick the Bugs Bunny Avatars, sure would like to see a Daffy Duck Duck Dodgers Avatar, would use that one, too! I like the Charlize Theron ones, too! Probably others here, but I'm too lazy to check right now....

Re: Your avatar
I've been thinking of adding more avatars but haven't had a lot of time to do so as of late. I'd also like to add some more smilies sooner or later but finding clean smilies isn't so easy as many are too big and low rez.
