Why Do Men Prefer Showers
Showers to Baths? Why doesn't a man feel like a man having a bubble bath? Men, be truthful, have you ever had a bubble bath...by yourself?

Re: Why Do Men Prefer...
I hate showers. I prefer baths. Now if I actually had the time, and access to one.

Re: Why Do Men Prefer Showers
...because when you bathe your literally sitting in a dirty tub full of your own filth, the thought is actually quite disgusting. It seems to me that water running over your body would make you cleaner anyway rather than soaking in your own dirt.

Re: Why Do Men Prefer Showers
i enjoy baths - but i am over 6' tall.....
im not even sorta overweight, but i have a wide(r) frame than a your average scrawny person and my frame is filled out reasonably well from many years of back breaking labor....
1. my knees are at my chin in a bath tub
2. there are very few tubs that my shoulders fit into
they do not design tubs well for taller people
and NO i hate bubbles or anything else in my water that smells funky, all that crap makes me feel like a greased pig, i bathe to clean myself .....
and ya Duke I know what yur saying, but i enjoy how relaxing nice warm water feels and just being able to lay there and no one is allowed to bug you heh. I always end a bath with showering off afterwards so the soap scum doesnt make me itch.

On the rare occasions that I actually have time for a bath I take a shower afterwards for the reason you describe.

I LOVE bubble baths, a candle glowing, a cup of tea or coffee, and a good book! Sometimes if I have more time to soak, I listen to some classical music playing softly! PER-FECT!
Since I have a bath or shower everyday, I'm not filthy, so a bath is quite wonderful!

Re: Why Do Men Prefer Showers
I've also tried reading in the bath but it's impossible for me to not get the pages wet to some degree and it irks me to see wrinkled pages in my books.

Depending on the literature, the hands may go down, down, down.
