Who you rootin' for now?
Well....I was rootin' for the Vancouver Canucks and so were a lot of B.C. fans...but after the disappointing loss last night....B.C. has gone quiet...
So who do you think will win the Stanley Cup now?
I'll probably have to root for another team now as soon as I'm finished sulking...

As we will probably a summary of one whole game in the NHL (namely the final game of the final), I can't be bothered to follow it anyway.

I watched the Sports segment on the News last night and they are going for coach Marc Crawford and Todd Bertuzzi's heads because they aren't in the playoffs for the first time in six years. They started out great at the beginning, but played such inconsistent games....
I still haven't decided who to root for now...I'm just not that crazy about the other Canadian teams.... I guess I'm still sulking...better get over it...more Hockey games tonight

The Vancouver Canucks played their last game of the season against the Colorado Avalanche last night and won 4-3 in Overtime. Their big line of Naslund, Bertuzzi, and Morrison all scored goals. This line has been blamed for not doing their job for quite awhile now.
I watched them being interviewed on Sports this morning, and I'm hoping now that no one will be traded and they will be given another chance for next year, the whole team. Marc Crawford said they have all been humbled at what's happened.
I will be holding my breath hoping that the team stays intact...after my little sulkeroo I'm still a fan and will be rooting for them again next season.

I'm not much of a sports fan...but I think The Vancouver Canucks just sounds like a really fun name of a team!

In the European Football League, the team from Amsterdam is called "The Amsterdam Admirals."
Never knew, football was a sailor's game. And Ice hockey here is so underdeveloped (the same holds for basketball and baseball), that almost all teams are named after their sponsor :S.

Merika, once you start rootin' for a team and start watching Sports, you'll never look back ... start small by just looking at their tight pants in football

Yes...I imagine we could get into hot water from time to time if we lived in the same town
Anyway....I'm saddened to learn that Marc Crawford has been fired from the Vancouver Canucks and am holding my breath; I'm frightened to learn who is next...according to Dave Nonis this may not be the end of 'cleaning house' so to speak
I was so hoping that the entire team would stay together and have one more year to work more consistently than this year...
