It's more the fact that things will never be the same without her. The house, the surroundings, not anything. My grandfather is totally incapable of keeping that house proper.
On a different tone, I'm having chocolate licquor that my bf brought me from Zurich, it's delicious. I'm home alone for 2 more days and I adore it.

It's a sad day indeed when both of us have nothing to say on Lifesupporters!

Re:
I got quite wrecked from all the crap that happened this weekend with the soap opera surrounding the server move that I just have no interest in discussing anything.
Sometimes being a webmaster is the loneliest and most thankless job in the world.
Fortunately, these times are few and far between for me but when they do hit, they seem to hit hard.

I was going to ask "why sad?" but you answered before I had chance....

Re:
It's funny but my dad was an alcoholic and I had a hard time with booze throughout my very late teens and 20's. At the time I told myself it was youth but hitting the booze as hard as I did was not youth, it was a problem.
I vowed I would never put my child through anything even remotely similar nor would I do so behind her back. I have too much love and respect for my daughter to embarrass here with the knowledge I drink. Don't get me wrong, I do have a drink now and again but for the most part, I'm pretty dry.
That said, I almost did go out and pick up a bottle this weekend but I simply talked myself out of it because it never solves anything really.

For me getting wrecked is always a social thing - more for the fun than the drink though the two go together. I know what you mean though. If it's been a problem for you in the past, or becomes a way of managing mood, it invariably makes things worse not better.

I thank you for all you are doing. I wish I could do half what you do.
