What are your favourite Comedies/Comedic Actors/Actresses?

My favourite comedies are the English ones called "Fawlty Towers" and "Keeping Up Appearances". I also love the silly movies like "Airplane", "Spaceballs", "Naked Gun".

My favourite Comedy Actors: John Cleese and Leslie Neilson (the latter from the old "Police Squad" TV show.
Favourite Comedy Actresses: Lucille Ball and Patricia Routledge (her portrayal of Hyacinthe Bucket just cracks me up!!!!!!!!!

my favorite comedy actors are chevy chase, john candy and dan ankroid. Any movie with chevy and john candy in it rocks. i can watch them over and over and never get tired of them.

Chevy Chase in his "Vacation" movies; I was told a must-see is "European Vacation" but I haven't made it to the video store....to busy being on-line!

I've seen all of chevy chase's movies. the best ones are his vacation ones and funny farm. funny farm's a killer! LOL! I have a movie here with all 3 in it plus demi moore. I forget what it's called; I'll have to dig it out and see.

The movie's that's hillarious with john candy and dan ankroid in it is the great outdoors. ever see tht one? if not, it's must see! you'll laugh throughout the whole movie. I own it and have watched it a zillion times and I laugh just as hard now as I did the first time i saw it. it's hillarious!! summer vacation, uncle buck...john candy's just as funny as chevy chase is.

no other comedian beats those guys in my books.

I rarely watch comedy based movies...so I don't have any favorites. I do watch the comedy channel sometimes with the kids to see a variety of stand up comedians....but I don't know any of their names....except the ones on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.

John Candy and Dan Ackroyd were hilarious in "The Great Outdoors"!

I did see "Uncle Buck", too. I loved the way John Candy laughed!! Star, I think you would also enjoy "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" with John Candy and Steve Martin. If you do see it or have seen, I'd love to know what you thought of it!! My sons and I just loved it!!!!!

Eddie Murphey and Martin Lawrence in Life was one of the funniest movies I've seen in years. I love John Candy, Jay Leno and Leslie Nielson because they make fun of themselves much more than anything and it's hilarious. Guys like Letterman make me puke because he gets lafs from being an arse to others. I think Jerry Seinfeld is a comedy genius for such a whiney twerp as he can be. I also find Ben Stiller and Sean William Scott to be hilarious in many of their roles.

Duke, I also love Ben Stiller and think he's hillarious. Meet the parents and meet the fockers made me laugh. I seen him in another movie not too long ago but I forget what the name of it was. It was something about him being jealous of his neighbor's good fortune from an invention that he did. It was hillarious!

I wish I could enjoy a comedy. When I saw Meet the Fockers....it was all I can do to watch it without falling asleep. I thought if was TOTALLY retarded and a waste of great Hollywood talent.

That's why I haven't seen it yet. Deniro just does a crappy job in sequels usually and I can't stand Dustin Hoffman.
