What are you doing this weekend?

I got a perm as well as loads of laughs with my wonderful hairdresser!

I'm also up early this Sunday morning and raring to do some oil painting as soon as the morning darkness leaves. Might even look at my "learning Guitar for Dummies" CD and strum a few bars and sing. No dogs in the area to howl so I'm set!

sounds like a relaxing weekend luba. mine are always so busy running around, doing household chores. it sucks. I did put in for 4 - 10 hour shifts a week so hopefully when that happens, i'll at least get 1 day a week where i can truly relax and have some fun.

this weekend, we celebrated kassy's 15th birthday on sat. she didn't have any friends over except for her boyfriend and krystal was here also. then, krystal took erika and kassy home with her to spend the night. today is laundry and cleaning and i have a ton of it to do. i'm wondering why i;m even on the computer when i should be cleaning. better get rocking.

I think you are procrastinating and there is nothing wrong with that.

As for me, I am being a veg on the computer and then going to read for a while. Still have some yard work that needs to get done but it has been raining off and on so I am using that as an excuse to stay inside another weekend.

i can't wait till they get better, im still too scared to go out and have fun, im living back with my parents and not being nasty to them but it can be a bit boring at times and it gets me down, but i really cant go out anyway, im still on medication and recovering from when i got attacked by my ex

Megan, what are your hobbies...maybe this would be a good time to get into a passionate hobby that will take your mind of your worries now...just a suggestion. When I get into my oil paintings for my granddaughters, I forget everything, and find catch myself smiling with strokes of the brush, and think about how much I love those girls....and my sons....and my husband...and my cat....and my friends....and my new online friends...and my job....and laughter....I could go on and on and on....and I guess I just did!

i haven't really got any hobbies, with being my husband my intrests just basically disappered.....but i like going outdoors, im not much for being inside...but im still not sure

What did you like to do before you married your husband? Maybe this would be a good time to explore your passions, your dreams, your interests while you are healing...they may help you heal faster....

I don't know how you are really feeling, and I'm not trying to push you into doing something you aren't ready for; for I haven't walked in your shoes, and I don't know how long it will take you to heal from this horrible experience. your adevice is not too pushy at all, don't worry, but my hobbies i would say are, proberley just going out walking and just sitting outside and relaxing and just at a view for hours.

i have lived in the english countryside for the majority of my life and i have always enjoyed it and i think i would say that is what i enjoy, but when i got married my husband would allow me to go out on my own to walk around parks and just enjoy the scenery and views

I LOVE walking and also sitting outside on my day off; enjoying a cup of tea and a good book and sometimes just losing myself in the beauty of Nature; let the sounds of the birds and the creek rushing by whisk me away to ecstasy!

thats what i like to do, i enjoy reading but i have read so much of what i enjoy i really dont know what i can read next....i have been thiking about it for ages, but im still not sure...burt i really do wish i could jsut go outside and go for a walk but im still to sore to walk far

What movies do you like? Maybe renting a few of those, especially if you like Comedy, that would do it! I LOVE English comedies like Fawlty Towers, Keeping Up Appearances, My Family, As Time Goes By...just to name a few! I also love the English Mystery Movies like Inspector Morse, Prime Suspect, Midsomer Murders...there are SO many!

OH Yes...between Knowledge Network and PBS we get a lot of British programming! One of my bosses and I talk about them all the time; I even tape them and lend them to him so we could talk about the shows...

thats pretty cool, i would say my favorite is keeping up apperances, but i like alot of american animation comedys myself more than british comedys
