Default What would you do?

If you were driving somewhere and got lost would you stop somewhere and ask directions or keep trying to find it yourself? Just curious......

According to me I would ask for directions.
According to my gf I would not ask for directions

I'd certainly ask for directions.

Really depends, sometimes if you know the general direction, it's just easier to drive. But if I had my gf with me, it would be easier to pull over and ask, if you know what I mean.

Definitely pull over and asks directions. I hate driving when I don't know where I'm going.

See, I wouldn't get lost.
I'd look up the route on mapquest and google maps, with a satellite photo, and then print it out before I left.

i took a mapquest map last summer to find directions to a campground. it was totally wrong. had to ask for directions anyways. i'll never trust those online maps again.

if i got lost, i'd stop at a gas station or a store and ask for directions.

It depends on my urgency level. If I have to be somewhere then I usually map it out prior to leaving and usually have a backup plan as I hate being late. If I'm in country and not in any particular hurry, I just go with the flow like a twig on the shoulders of a mighty stream.

I've never had a problem with bad directions from mapquest.
As for taking longer, I sometimes improvise.

Well when I was in arizona and driving an 05 Navigator and an 05 Hummer H2, I never got lost. Gotta love GPS!

Aside from that, I'll just drive. When I'm in a new place I'll drive just to get lost so I can find my way back. You learn faster that way.

If it comes down to it I'll just use my cell and call while I'm driving.

I don't use the written directions....but I sure do use the maps often. When I first lived here in Jacksonville....I had print outs in my car so I could find my way home.

Now on vacation...I prefer to wing it. If I go the wrong way...it makes for an interesting drive.
