Re: What is Everyone doing this Weekend?
uh, trying to recouporate from last night before I go out for my friend kadey's birthday. We're going to Ten, which is a new restaurant-lounge, for supper at 6 and then going to snatch after (it's a classy rock bar). Last night was our HR managers last day at work, so we all went for drinks at the Auburn after work, everything was free. Then 3 of us got the idea to goto the casino. Ryan and myself both took the casino for $1,500 each at blackjack After which we went to the AmsterdamRhino and I don't remember too much after that - must of been good though cause I apparently spent 300....oie.

I don't quite remember turning 28, but I DO remember vividly how I felt and where I was the day before turning 30! I was at a beautiful park in the City where I live feeling totally depressed to turn 30 the next day and I was feeling ancient. Feeling that way on a birthday hasn't happened since...I hope it never will again...that was awful!

Re: What is Everyone doing this Weekend?
I helped my new neighbours doing some work in their garden this morning.
After I'm done reading the forums I'll be doing some standard stuff in the house, like the dishes, laundry and some vacuumcleaning. Then off to my mother in law to pick up my wife and have dinner there. Then I'll prob spend the (euro)evening doing some online gaming and tarding around on teamspeak with Duke and Wapwap, likely testing out the Arma mission Duke has been working on.
Sunday I think I'll take it slow, perhaps I'll get some playtime with the little creature swimming around in my wife's belly ,maybe a visit to my parents or my brother in law.
In the evening I'll be having my standard sunday evening 'squadnight' with the Norwegian 332 viking squad, currently flying a P-38 in IL2 (an online WW2 flight simulator game).

Re: What is Everyone doing this Weekend?
Sounds like you have a pretty full weekend NoTargeT. I bummed around the house since Thursday so now I need to do my usual weekend stuff, pay bills, do laundry, minor house work. My daughter is leaving to go back to Orlando today. My son is going back tomorrow. I will miss them both but they will be back next month for Christmas. I hope you all have a nice weekend.

Re: What is Everyone doing this Weekend?
Sorry to hear your children are leaving, tkdlady! I find that just the hardest thing to wave to them as they leave or I leave for the bus! Times like that go so fast, in the blink of an eye!
This weekend I will be working on my aphgan and doing some oil painting! I've been up for hours, exercised and my daily Writing done! Feel great!
I will be going to get a lot of fruit and vegetables later when my husband gets ready to go downtown! He won't tell me what he wants for Christmas, so being a terrible shopper except with my granddaughters, I will be wandering around the Stores looking utterly pathetic....hoping to run into customers I know when I worked in Retail, that will be the highlight of my day!
