Default What do you like to do on a rainy Saturday?

It's raining today, and there was supposed to be a Car show in town, probably a lot of disappointed people...

I love a rainy day, I get to do all sorts of stuff around the home and hobbies...and, of course, read wittisms on Lifesupporters...

I love when it rains. One of my fondest memories as a child is sitting on the front porch swing with my Dad and watching the storm come in then enjoying the rain. Now whenever I smell rain in the air I'm instantly transported back to those lazy summer afternoons with him and it brings me a bit of peace and a smile to my face.

Ayla, that is such a beautiful memory!

I enjoy walking in a gentle rain, something so soothing about it...

i agree, i wonder what it is about the rain that our evolutionary design made it so.

If it's summer rain then I don't mind a bit. The rain has a cooling effect and seems to re-hydrate everything around here. It also rains a lot over the winter time and it's depressing as it's cold, miserable and always dark.

Afternoon showers are nice. Day 1 or rain is nice. Day 2 is even okay. It's when it rains for days that it becomes annoying. I don't think it's the rain that bothers me....it's the humidity in Florida that comes with it that becomes such a pain.
