The editors compiled statistics on 250 occupations, from accountant to zoologist. The occupations are ranked on the basis of six key criteria: environment, income, employment outlook, physical demands, security and stress. The data comes from government sources, such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Census Bureau, as well as studies from trade associations and industry groups.

the critera for choosing was level of work, stress and that sorta thing, so biologists dont have high stress jobs.

Accounting can be very relaxing. It's just you and the figures and they don't lie. HAHA!
An actuary is someone who pulls together statistical information used mainly by insururance companies or any loan institution. Example: You lose a finger due to a job accident. They have a formula to decide what that finger is worth based on your age and other job skills. An actuary would decide that formula based on statistics. I 'actually' would find being an 'actuary' as being an interesting occupation.
