Taking a stand

What do you believe about "aking stands"? Ever taken a stand? What about and why? And are they worth it?

I can't come up with anything specific here except to say that when I'm asked to act on something that goes against my principles/beliefs, I refuse to do it.

I think it can depend on the price you're about to pay if you refuse to do it, unfortunately.

Not for me. If I'm forced to do something against my will, then I make sure that everyone involved knows I take no responsibility for the end result. I've been down this road before and it's never wise to do something you are opposed to.

I'll always end up taking the stand....and then it bites me in the butt. At least I wasn't a wimp. I think that one is always a hard call because sometimes you are just between a rock and a hard place.

I always have to when it comes to Noahs school I always have to bother them about putting him in the right class ect but it works.

Merika, you and me both! I have too much of an attitude and I'm too opinionated to simply shut up. And yes, it does bite me right where it hurts most, but at least I can live with myself after that.
