Stranded
This is definitely not a 'lighter side' topic.
If you were stranded in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone and didn't pack any emergency gear, what would you do? Would you be in control or panic?

Re: Stranded
I'd be in control. There is no middle of nowhere in the Netherlands.

Okay, what if you came to Canada...there is a lot of 'middle of nowhere' here!

Re: Stranded
I'd be in control. Same reason as Vautrin Next to that lack of a cell phone wouldn't make me panic since I don't own one in the first place
Coming to Canada would probably make me panic no matter where in Canada I'd be

Re: Stranded
Canada is really a very beautiful, scenic Country with so much to offer! I think you would fall in love with Canada if you ever get the chance to visit here!

Re: Stranded
You are in the middle of nowhere. Where are you going to find an orphan?? As for me, I would definitely be frightened, probably panic a bit at first but then I would get hold of myself and start thinking what to do.

Stabbing orphans, Vautrin lying dead, and DA, doesn't matter if it's highway or wilderness, take your pick...this topic is W-I-D-E open!

Just had a thought...the orphan probably was lost so long that the parents died looking for him! I'm just a crazy person! Read too many Stephen King novels, LOVE the guy!
Anyway, I'd probably panic, too...then I would just wait to die!
I made this into a serious topic but none of us could just stay there...

Re: Stranded
But seriously, if I am not freezing to death (because I am not in Yukon), I'd try to find a good vantage point to check the surroundings. Especially in the evening, you could see lights of houses and such.

Re: Stranded
Vautrin, just know I don't want you lying dead ANYWHERE!
If you are stranded in Canada, I hope it's somewhere close to where I live so I can bring you in and give you a blanket, and coffee and doughnuts NOT delivered by Fedex!
