SH had a good idea for making this topic. She said she buys stocks on news, which is pretty much a surefire way to do it, very hard to lose on positive news, on the otherhand there is a lot of missed opportunity doing it that way also, because some stocks have potential without news, trying to predict what the news will be gives a larger upside.

I bought MSO ( Martha Stewart) witch is down this week, but I fuigure that she'll be in the news an AWFUL lot plus Trump is endorsing her so I think that will be a goldmine.

I currently am holding alot of Fule Stocks witch pay dividends, I made 45K out of a 10K investment in TASR ( taser guns) but that stock is dead now. If it wasn't for the stock market I would still be on a pole somewhere :?

thats a good ROI(return on investment), i love the stock market(prolly cause im a gambler) i actually need to find a new investment so i stop sitting on a few K in cash.

Never sit on money, atleast put it in a money market with intrest.. ( I am anti CD and Mutual funds)

I only have 2 more tests to take and I can be a Stock Broker. HEY if it's something that intrests you why don't you go apply at a Brokerage firm? They pay for your schooling but you have to sign a contract, due to my condition I passed up Meryl Linch but everybody hires I personally like AG Edwards and Edward Jones witch are sister companies.

I get interest its just not much like 0.8%

I would but i hate math, thats why i do marketing...they wont pay for mine, im at a 4 year school where they can get interns for free...i feel like we are on the apprentice and you are Net Worth(street smarts) and im Magna(book smarts) lol

I LOVE the appreintence... ANyway I HATE math to and I don't skrew with it. My computer programs fuigure everything out for me plus I am a financial consultant for an Accounting firm so all the "Bean counters" here fuigure all the Capital Gains taxes, Ect. for me.. So I am basically just a sales person.

I've learned alot aobut tax shelters, EIA's and Insurance ect. but not to much with stocks or IPO's that's just my side hobby

Yeah i watch the appretice, but i missed the episode last night so i have to downlolad it. My mom is an enrolled agent for tax prep(certfied by the IRS) so she takes care of any tax questions i run into, which isnt that many cause i dont work and in marketing all we care about it getting as much money as possible.

I had Mutual Funds years ago but now only put my spare cash into an RRSP. I don't have any other investments, if your wondering why my avatar is a chicken, now you know.

I avidly watch The Apprentice. The young pretty girl (I don't remember her name) with Street Smarts got fired last night. She deserved it because she wasn't any good as manager of that particular project. Book Smarts won due to a much better marketing plan.

I have no problem with us offering sound financial advise but we're gonna need one hell of a Terms of Use page because I don't think any of us wants to assume legal responsibility because Martha Stewart is making license plates and Donald Trump blows his fortune trying to do something about that stupid "do" of his.
