Snow Day

I had a snow day today, its crazy, i had two big presentations to give today and now they are postponed. When i got back last night at 2am there was no snow at all.

Ah we got like 4 inches of snow last night. It's funny seeing people trying to drive, they can't. I learned how to drive in the winter in thunder bay though, so this is peanuts to me.

yeah it is the same way here, NYC doesnt get much snow, so people dont drive in it well, i used to live near albany so i drove in snow for my liscence test.

I live in Alabama now and let me tell you...if it freaking flurries here they shut the state down and you can't buy a loaf of break or a gallon of milk for two weeks, they buy the stores out. It's crazy!

wow, yeah and then you have the further extreme of stone, who has never seen snow.

I laugh at how quick they close the schools around here and cancel the buses. i grew up in sault ste marie, ontario and winter there is winter. snowbanks as high as the housetops. they seldom closed the schools or cancelled buses. here, a bit of snow and everyone freaks! LOL!

we got a total of a foot of snow here today. lots of it!! it's supposed to rain later in the week though. that'll either give us black ice or it'll melt it.

i miss the snow to levels where i can play snow football, or build snowmen or go sledding. Stone has lived in southern florida her whole life. All of us guys would be happy to take her "skiing" lol.
