I forgot to tell you guys that she left this afternoon to be in the concert and make the CD of the Florida All-State Choir!!! As I said in another post...she was the only one who made it from our entire city of 1.8 million people....with hundreds of kids trying out!!!

They are at this really fancy hotel, all expenses paid, in Tampa overlooking the gulf. The concert and taping will be at the convention center. She is going to try out for one of the solos. She is only in TENTH grade...so I'm already counting the scholarships!!!

I wanted to go....but I knew how much this would mean to my mom who so loves classical music and was a teacher for a long time. She really wanted this trip with her granddaughter. It's nice for both of them to share this special time.

She has a new movie recorder she got for Christmas. I'm sure my Mom will make sure a few things are recorded. We'll see what she has when they get back. Even if we could put on a couple of minutes....it would be cool.

Chloe doesn't just sing 'well' due to hitting the right notes....she has an extraordinary voice which makes people cry when she sings.
