Rules to live by
I got this today you guys know what a Tony Robbins nut I am here is a message from his site
must leave your hands in 6 MINUTES. Otherwise you will get a
>>very unpleasant surprise. This is true, even if you are not
>>superstitious, agnostic, or otherwise faith impaired.
>>
>>ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
>>
>>
>>TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older,
>>their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
>>
>>
>>THREE. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all
>>you want.
>>
>>
>>FOUR. When you say, "I love you," mean it.
>>
>>
>>FIVE. When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye.
>>
>>
>>SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
>>
>>
>>SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight.
>>
>>
>>EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone's dream. People who don't have dreams
>>don't have much.
>>
>>
>>NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's
>>the only way to live life completely.
>>
>>
>>TEN.. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
>>
>>
>>ELEVEN. Don't judge people by their relatives.
>>
>>
>>TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly.
>>
>>
>>THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don't want to
>>answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"
>>FOURTEEN. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
>>FIFTEEN. Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.
>>SIXTEEN. When you lose, don't lose the lesson
>>SEVENTEEN. Remember t he three R's: Respect for self; Respect for
>>others; and responsibility for all your actions.
>>EIGHTEEN. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
>>NINETEEN. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate
>>steps to correct it.
>>TWENTY. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it
>>in your voice.
>>TWENTY-ONE. Spend some time alone

"must leave your hands in 6 MINUTES."
What does that mean?
Great advice, I love number Two. Although I don't really see the point of Fifteen, who really cares what anyone says when you sneeze? I'm to busy trying to not get plehm all over myself or someone else.

I think it means you have to pass it on quickly or you will experience bad luck.
Good list, stone. My faves are 9 and 14. I fail on 12. My staff are constantly telling me to slow down

The only one I don't like is the phone one. That's all I need to do is encourage marketers to cold call me more.

If I do happen to pick up the phone when one of these tards wants to waste my time, I just act extremely rude and hang up before they can finish explaining themselves. I hate being bothered at home and consider it an invasion of privacy, in fact I think there should be a law against it.

When your trying to peddle your wares at my home on my time then it is most certainly an invasion of my privacy. You can think of it as spyware over the telephone for all I care but I don't appreciate some tard trying to sell me stuff on my own, private time.

I agree. Just say you aren't interested or don't have a credit card. I live in a very high call center job area and I know people who do this because they need a job. I'm never rude to them at all.
I collect cell phone bills on the phone.... sometimes people at first think I'm a telemarketer too. I like advising them differently and watching them get all squirmy instead of rude.

I really love that...I try to do One, Two (I've been married a long time so even being in his presence without talking is a great comfort to me), Four, Five, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, (working on Twelve; it's the other way round with me) Fifteen, Sixteen, Eighteen, Nineteen, and Twenty-one, must remember Seventeen.
