Quick update
Sorry for being away for so long.
I'm entering my last month of MAster and there are tons of papaers to turn in and exams to pass.
I got my VISA for the USA (they usually give it for 6 months or so... I think I got it for 10 years!!!!)
What else did I do... I went to the swimming pool (finally) and ... I worked worked worked. I'm also searching for an internship, so it's keeping me busy.
As I've told you last time, I've decided to stay together with my bf. I was terribly unhappy at first, trying to go back on my decision, hurting... he understood that, gave me my time and let me decide. We went out this week end and he was impecable ( a party full of crazy Spaniards, lots of music and alcohol). Saturday it was his father's anniversary and we had a great time too. I simply make baby steps now.
I understood a lot about myself lately and about our relationship also. It's gonna take a long time before I'll completely get over what happened, if I ever will.
So anyway, it's just a little post to tell you I have been visiting from time to time and read some of your posts even if I haven't written anything.
I'll see how I organise my time, I really miss you guys.
Love
Twinkle

I'm searching EVERYWHERE, but... mainly in France. .
I'll be in the USA for about a week or two, not too much. I look forward to changing the air and.. the continent for a chance, LOOL.
I am so sorry I haven't been here for you, Heather, I saw you were in some rough spots yourself... but I'm very happy to see that you've finally found yourself.
Don't know about the happy bf part and you can bet your money that if I can leave this country for an internship, I shall .

There's plenty of other men around twinkle, any one of them would be lucky to hook up with you.

I think you'll figure it out if you were actually alone for a legth of time. You have a lot to offer and the only reason you don't see it is because you sell yourself short. Much of the time people are alone due to signals they give off and low self-esteem. I know this for a fact as I've been very successful and I'm nothing to look at but I am confident.

I certainly do have a low self esteem, that's for sure. Working on it, though... the thing is, duke, I never would have thought he'd never even look the other way, so much he made me trust him. Did some pretty awesome stuff for me also...
And now this.
I'd be lying not to say I'm not blown away. But I do love him also. That's the difficult part. I just don't want to give up that easily. Maybe there is something worth fighting for.

or maybe your too attached because of your low self esteem. I hate to play devils advocate but it's highly unlikely that he's irreplaceable.

If he stays better thats good, but i doubt he will, he will change for awhile then turn back to what he was like b4, i have seen it with my friend's bf. Thats great that you got a visa for that long. You should be able to get an internship in the US, if you wanted.

The more you do that, the better your relationships will get - this one and the others you'll have in the future. You'll do what's best for you when the time is right. Love is worh fighting for so long as you don't sacrifice too much of yourself in the process. Meanwhile, pass those exams!
