I hate the mess and generally just use the fake ones I have.

Merika I dont know when YOU have carved Pumkins but in MY LIFETIME i have NEVER had the chance to carve a pumpkin all we get to do is hang up a plastic spider and some ORANGE Christmas light!!!! i have always wanted to carve a pumpkin but i have never had a chance to!

Yeah.....but it's a 16 FOOT spider and very cool!

Duke...your post gave me an idea. I could get some tangerines and we could decorate them with black markers! COOL IDEA if you live in Florida where fruit is cheap. Thanks!

Maybe with Christmas coming....we could start a 'crafts with your kids' thread in the child area. I bet several people on here have links or ideas they could share. (Maybe we'll end up on the Christmas Craft list on Google if we get enough ideas!)
