Personalizing Lifesupporters.com

Do any of you have thoughts in regards on how to personalize this site to better suit your needs?

Essentially what I'm asking, is what do you feel is missing and/or what features would you like to see added/deleted?

I think the site look great and it's easy to find what you are looking for. I do think it would be nice on the front page (articles) if it said somewhere that once someone becomes a member....there are more forum topics than showing for them as a guest. That's a small thing though.

Prolly not a bad idea. I've been thinking of revamping the Welcome to Lifesupporters.com Admin Block on the main page and adding far more information to it. The problem becomes that the block gets too large and the news is no longer seen at lower resolutions. This is no good as I want visitors to know that we do post news that may help them in their daily lives.

I've been thinking of creating shortened mission statements and re-direct info such as:

There are times in everyones lives where you're faced with a situation that requires feedback, but have no one you feel comfortable sharing with. Lifesupporters.com was created specifically for this purpose (active link "Read More") re-directing to a seperate content page.

Now if I can only figure out how to structure it. The problem with this site is some of the modules give me a less than desirable effect when it comes to adding content on currently non-existant parts of the website. The tools in themselves are ok but indexing is quite a pain in the arse.

Sometimes when you write things for the site....your quirky personality doesn't come through. I think that's one of the draws to the members and guests.

For whatever reason, this is the page I get when I click on here and I really think you did a great job on that explanation. It sounds fun and upbeat. http://www.lifesupporters.com/

Ofcourse, I'm having to manually log on each time...but that's not a big deal.

If you click the little radio button that says "Remember Me", you shouldn't have to logon anymore. I too always re-direct to this site through http://www.lifesupporters.com and never have to login.

I'm glad you like the blurbage on that page, I really needed a page fast to re-direct people to whatever site was online while attempting my famed site moves.
