Personal Spending
Other than computer or vehicles, what is the most expensive item you've purchased for yourself in the last year?
I think mine was a $25 pair of pants. How sad is that?

$50 for shoes? WOW girl...you are a high class spender!
I've paid more than that for name brand tennis shoes for the kids. By the time it's MY turn to get shoes....I'm too broke to buy the cool stuff. I wear flop-flops most of the time anyway. ($2) HAHA!

i don't see why 50 bucks for shoes is such a big deal, my shoes always cost more than that...
The most expensive thing i bought, with my own money, was the paintball stuff i bought from someone. i saved about 150 bucks getting it from him though, so i think i did good. 8)

It's not when you are young without kids. I can almost BET YA that Star hasn't spent $50 on any shoes either. Once you are a parent...all the money goes elsewhere. I was just teasing Twinks!

About two or three times in the last year I've dropped about $1000 toward my school.

Most of my larger expenses recently have been school related also. I had a rant about that because there were so many at the end of the year....but I guess it comes with the territory.

you betcha! i never spend that on shoes. I don't spend that on my kids shoes either. I put 20 bucks towards it and if it costs more, they pay the rest with their own money. Teaches them to have value for money and it works for kassandra.
the ost i've spend on me and me alone this last year? hmmm.. let's see...maybe 20 bucks on some make-up. isn't that sad? I spend my money on the kids all the time.

I'm proud of my shoes, because they were on sale - initially they were 65.
Do you believe me if I say that the most expensive thing I ever bought was a gift for my mom? Wait 'till you hear what I got her. A designer's umbrella! I saw it on Saint Michel - one cool street downtown Paris and spent... 65Euros. 1E=1,3$.
She desirved it!

ã45 for a pair of shoes is not at all unusal here. My last pair were that price but they were on sale for around ã25. (around $50.). I spent ã60 on make-up for my birthday I must start economising.

Yup. London is worst but England is expensive generally. My mortgage payments are ã880. a month and I don't live in a palace, far from it.

A new bedroom suit and couch (around 3,000).
Gotta love Big Sandy.
We needed it, though. Our bed was falling apart, and we had no dresser (we lived out of boxes and suitcases until we moved).
But, that was more of a family purchase...if you mean clothing...I haven't bought myself any new clothes this year. I tend to take good care of my clothes.
I also bought myself a cool pipe for my birthday. Yes, it's for smoking illegal substances, not tobacco, but it's nothing that God didn't put here on this earth...tee hee.
I don't mess with the man made drugs (except for beer and asperin).
