Outlook Express (Rules)

Anyone else use the rules option in Outlook Express?

I just started using them to weed out much of the spam I get daily in my inbox and have gone from between 20 - 30 new e-mails/day to between 5 - 10 meaningful e-mails/day.

i used to use but haven't for a long time. i should start again and get rid of all the spam i get in there. thanks for reminding me about that option!

i dont use outlook, i use webmail usually or thunderbird(the firefox of email)

Well I have to say that it's pretty much the best option that any e-mail program can offer. You can even chose (as I did) to not even download the spam from the mail server.

I get tons of spam.....I don't care. Usually I try to take a couple of hours a month to opt out of each on an individual basis and that has worked real well. I hate to filter it since there are freebies and surveys that I DO want.
