Only 7 more days of school.....
Then they will be home, all day, everyday, all summer.....eating and wanting rides.
LOL....They are actually very excited about getting out of school.

:? I don't know if I can even deal with Noah every single day for 4 months!!! Wanting to play, eat, go here and there it gets expensive!! I think today I will look in to 1/2 day summer camp.. It's gotta be cheaper than him staying home driving me nuts.
Merika is there any Parks & Recreation programs your kids can go to?

Once kids get older, there really isn't alot of 'summer programs' directed towards their age group. Jackson has free access to a couple of youth offender programs..... ...but it would probably be just as well he doesn't spend the summer with kids who have also been in jail. HAHA!

The police now scare him! He can see one anywhere and get all sweaty. I have to admit they left quite an impression on him. I'm glad they did.
He's currently all into making cartoons on his puter. I think I might get him a good program to advance his skills. They also have the beach and a pool within walking distance.

i look forward to school being out. always have. don't have to make anymore lunches, no more money to the chool, i like it! besides, now that kassandra's old enough to babysit, i can go to afternoon bingo sometimes with my friends! YEAH!
i just had to dish out 145.00 for her end of the year school trip plus 10.00 for the year book.

We have 29 days left. It really doesn't make to much difference to me, as I'm at work when he's at school. But he'll have to go to daycare more which is hard on him.

Does he enjoy it (daycare)? Many kids do, lots of new people and things to do. I hope it's just the change he finds hard and that he settles in quickly, Adonaicole

He enjoys it, he just doesn't like going there first thing in the morning, before he's even awake all the way.

My daughter still has over a month of school left and then she's off till September. Man I wish I had summer holidays like I did when I was in school, what a riot.

Plus Daycare is expensive. I don't know how parents with pre-school age children afford it. I used to work with a girl with a 2 and 4 year old. She cleared very little from her paycheck.

You really need to have two good paying jobs in a household to be able to afford daycare these days. If one of you has a low paying job, you actually make more money on welfare than you do working.
