DA, where are you?! We need to book for NY tonight and I have no time to look at where is best for hotels, I have work stuff to do instead. Which is best do you reckon, Greenwich Village or Times Square area? Does it matter? How about Union Sq? We don't mind travelling in the day but we want to be able to go out dancing at night and not have to get the tube back to the hotel.

Anyone else been to NY? What area did you stay in?

lol, nothing like waiting until the last few hours before you want to book to ask me,lol...but we figured it out.

i might try and come out when you are there, depends on time and money though.

I have been talking about it for over a year!

We were hoping to wait until I have more time, but every day there are fewer flights to chose from.

Why don't you get a cheap dial up, like a $5 a month special, just to keep as a back up. I did that for years....just in case. LOL!

As soon as I get a bigger hard drive! I have no room left for anything else on this one!

When I bought this, the 60-gig one that came with it wouldn't work when housemate (who I bought it from) tried to clean his stuff off of it. Right now I've got the 2-gig from the last one, Mr. P. O'S III.

Housemate hasn't been all that swift about getting me a replacement.

I'll have to bring it up again one of these days. Once I start working again, I probably can just get one myself.

Too bad you don't have anyone around who can rebuild it for you cheap or free. Meanon used to have a crappy puter until she got a new one for her birthday last year. It's a pain when it just won't work right for you.
