WOW....that's QUITE the crib!
I would probably be just as happy in a cabin way out in the country where no one could get to me....but I'm strange that way!

Looks like a beautiful house but can you imagine all the dusting you'd have to do?

That is something to keep in mind when you look at a big house. There is a huge amount of upkeep and cleaning involved. My area used to be where rich people built summer houses on the lake (the Dodge family, Edsel Ford, and so on). Anyway, the rich people stayed, but their houses didn't. The gigungous mansions are mostly gone replaced by more modern mansions (smaller, less cool for the most part). Though, when I say small I mean that only a few of my house could fit in there. They still have tennis courts though.
But yeah, most of those houses are gone because the upkeep on a mansion like that is astronomical.

If you're rich enough to afford a mansion, aren't you rich enough to afford the upkeep?

If I ever got rich off of these sites I'd fly you all to some central location to meet up in.

This is more of the pedestrian rich near me, the ones that buy houses that cost <10 million methinks. From a developer point of view it probably makes sense, since they could probably buy one of the old mansions, knock it down and put like 2 or 3 on the old lot.

I'd feel wierd living in a house with maids and a butler. It would be like you are never alone or have real privacy. I would like a crew to come in once a week to clean though.
I would have around the clock security guards though.
1. To feel safe.
2. To keep myself surrounded with men in uniform.
