I'm actually messing with one right now but having a bit of trouble getting it to work properly. I'll post here when and if I can get the darn thing working (it's really buggy).

the problem with chats is that people might post less, try and get it so the transcripts are recorded. Its easy if you just you AIM chats.

We've discussed this before and it may or may not keep posts out of the forums but it may also do the same for spam.
Anyway, providing I can get it working, I don't see any harm in trying it. It does install as a module which is easy enough to turn on and off if necessary.
