Default Are Men Normal?

I thought just reading the review was fun.....

Tuesday May 24, 8:00 AM EDT

In her new book, "When It Comes to Guys, What's Normal?," marketing guru Bernice Kanner focuses her uniquely perceptive gaze on the idiosyncrasies, opinions and behaviors of guys.
This latest installment in Kanner's popular "Are You Normal?" series offers insightful - and at times surprising - statistics about men, gathered through a study funded in part by The Gillette Company. Kanner's previous books explored Americans' perceptions of love and money, and showed how remarkably alike, incredibly different and just plain interesting they are.

"I wanted to focus on men and their behaviors for this book, because I feel that most people don't understand them," said Bernice Kanner. "Men will always remain something of a mystery, so it was fun to explore how they act in the bedroom, the bathroom, the car and at the office."

The book, organized by topics such as "Before the Mirror and In the John," "Between the Sheets," "Behind the Wheel," and "On the Job," answers burning questions, such as:

-- What would a guy do for $1 million? (60 percent would take the rap for someone else and spend six months in jail)

-- How many sport facial hair and how do they deal with it? (46 percent have no facial hair, while 12 percent show stubble; 90 percent of all American men shave away their facial hair with 72 percent using a razor and blade)

-- Do they know the difference between right and wrong? (14 percent of men would park in a handicapped spot, and 86 percent admit to fudging information on their resumes)

-- Do they get bitten by the love bug? (Men fall in love an average of six times in a lifetime, however, 44 percent of men have uttered those three little words, even when they knew it wasn't true)

"The Gillette Company has been committed to understanding men for more than 100 years," said Peter K. Hoffman, President, Blades & Razors, The Gillette Company. "We're thrilled that the statistics and information about men that we've gathered over the years was as fascinating to Ms. Kanner as it is to us."

"When It Comes to Guys, What's Normal?" by Bernice Kanner is being released in June 2005, in conjunction with Father's Day, at a suggested retail price of $9.95.

LOL!

To the extent that they refer to them as... a different species?!? For "people" read "women" - but her way of expressing it is more revealing.

I'm curious to see what the book actually says, I want to see if I'm normal or not.

Too cool! I did a market study for 9 month regarding male beauty products - in Paris of course... Came up with some pretty funny facts. Men are the next big thing to explore by the marketing pros, that's clear!

There's a sequel due out in a few months called, "The quest for understanding a woman." It's a 500 page hard cover that makes no sense whatsoever.

*dux in corner, awaits comments*
