I checked all around and didn't see any updates on how your visit went with Paris and the D00kster. Did you have fun????

Thanks, Merika, for asking! I was going to post something this morning, but I'm too highly emotional yet to make any sense!

It was a wondrous plus any other beautiful word in the English language visit!! I wasn't feeling well yesterday, probably because of such traumatic emotion, I hated to see them go! I sobbed my heart out in the bathroom once they left! They just live too far away...

Dwoing is absolutely incredibly wonderful! I learned more from her than she got from me!! I so enjoyed just being with her, we did so many things and had great chats! She is so wise and so beautiful and dances like a dream! She gave me such insight and such peace!! I could go on and on...but I'm getting emotional again...

And Duke never lets me get full of myself. We were going downtown and I said I have to put my face on first and he said "Why don't you use someone else's face instead?" We needed to get some eggs and I guess I repeated it once too often for he called me a 'verbal sticky note'.

We also got to visit some of my family who Dwoing didn't remember because she was so small the last time she saw them...it was wonderful as well!!

I'm so grateful to C. for suggesting this visit, I'll never be able to thank her enough! The three of us had a wonderful time just shopping on the weekend she brought Dwoing, and also having wonderful chats!

I am so glad your visit went so well. It is always a pleasure to have family visit and heartbreak when they leave.

I'm so glad you had such a great time!!! I think there was a great wisdom in the good old days when families lived very near to each other. It's a shame economics have changed all that.

I'm sure she enjoyed her visit just as much as you did!! Spending time with Grandma are the best times of a kid's life. My kids LOVE hanging out with my Mom.

Just think , eventually Dwoing will be old enough to drive herself and you can have lots of visits!!!

I hope you're right, Merika! Someone at work took the wind out of my sails yesterday when they asked me about the visit, and as per usual, I went on and on and on about how wonderful it was...and she told me that it was bound to change when the teen years hit...

I pray the teen years don't change Dwoing...she is perfect as she is...

They DO change as they grow up...but after a time....they get back normal again!
