I'm feeling like the lost poster here.

I've been too busy with the new job and learning all this new crap.....to have time to post. I promise I'll catch up with all the posts and PM's in the next couple of days.

The hardest part is all the dressing up everyday. These people make lots of money and have ALL these clothes....even the guys wear suits. I'll just have to eek by until I get a couple of paychecks. Working on the shipyard the last couple of years....left me nothing but jeans, stained T-shirts, steel toed boots and my hard had.

I know how that is. I had to go out and spend money I didn't have getting new business clothes when I started this job. Granted I don't wear a suit (I guess I could if I wanted, but that's way too much effort) but still.

i just had to buy a new suit for interviewing. Ill post pics later tomorrow after i wear it, well, while i wear it.

What are your hours and weekends off, I presume?
If it's not giving away any secrets, what are you going to be doing and are you just super excited?

Yes it it. They are the number one cell phone collection agency in the worl. How about that??? I don't do collections though in the same capacity. I am a manager of a TEAM who does collections. I'm not their Boss.....just keep it legal and do the required paperwork for debtors who are incarcerated or dead or filed bankruptcy....and their collect reports.

I was telling Adonai in an email today that I had NO IDEA those people made so much money. LORD....they make 1/3 of what they collect. $50,000-$60,000 is the AVERAGE income. I make a percentage off of theirs collectively.....but not near what they make.

It's odd hearing them be so stern on the phone when really..they are some of the nicest people I have ever been around.

I used to be a "collector" for a "business" and I really did NOT like that part of the "job". You're right though, the money is great and I wish I was making cash like that now. Can't have your cake and eat it too I guess.

This is actually much simpler. I look at it like this.....people need a mortgage and a vehicle.....and if all goes bad....they have to have medical. BUT...a CELL PHONE contract??????? Nahhhh....if you screwed up that one by getting some family/business plan and ran it up to $6,000....that's YOUR friggin problem. I don't feel sorry for them at all. I have no probs collecting on that. H*ll, I DON'T have that luxury because I can't afford it.....and if they couldn't afford it....they shouldn't have went there.

So....this is an easy one for me.
