I'm well on my way to completion of the first official newsletter and want to add a section titled Member Stories or something to that effect.

First off, do you all believe it's a good idea and secondly, if so, please submit your story to me by Private Message or e-mail only. That way it will come as a bit of a suprise to people when they finally receive the newsletter.

Just an FYI, all stories submitted to myself will be posted in the staff area to vote on the best stories for inclusion in the newsletter.

You know I think it's a great idea. Sometimes, people don't post for a period of time and either have lost the link or feel out of the loop. A newsletter is like a fresh invite. It lets people know you care about them.

It's also something the membership can forward in email as an invitation to join.

Well it's basically been your idea for the past several months Merika so I'm not taking any credit for it. I kept putting it off because I'm not an html/php guru and I knew creating the template was going to be an uphill battle for me.

Guess what, I was right, I've put more time into the simple graphics than the entire contents of the newsletter combined.

So I've received a grand total of zero entries. I trust no one thinks this is a good idea.

Once you get all the formatting together.....I'll know what you are basically looking for and will be more help the next time....I promise. I originally was just thinking a couple of paragraphs and a link.....but as usual...you came up with a much grander and professional looking idea. I'm looking so forward to seeing it.
