Default Language Barrier

If someone approached you that didn't speak English and wanted to find the best place to eat in your town or City, what would you do? How would you go about making them understand? Would you get anxious? Would you do your best to help them? Would you even take them to the Place you love the most?

I am going to play the devil's advocate for a second. If they don't speak english, how do I know they want to find a place to eat?

Now to answer your question, I would do my best to help them maybe draw a map of sorts.

I speak Dutch, English and I can manage French and German if I have to. So I should be fine.

I speak Dutch, English and German too, and a few words of French. And frisian not to forget (though not as good as I would like to) BTW here in the Netherlands English language is obligatory on school, and nowadays kids already start learning English in primary school. In the Dutch equivalent of highschool English + one other language is obligatory next to Dutch offcourse. I've had 8 years of English lessons and 4 years of German and French.
