I was the same way when I lived downtown. Minutes away from beautiful beaches, parks, rec centres, nope, stay home, eat piggy p00fs, watch tv.

I have a gym membership and a trainer, haven't been in a couple weeks but starting to notice it so I'm going to start back. Love the results, put on about 15 pounds of muscle in the first 2 months, never was that big to begin with so any improvement is a big deal to me!

I go 6 times a week to the gym, have done for the last few years, with a few breaks here and there.

I was pretty buff once, years ago, when I really trained hard. I weighed 240lbs and was trim. Had some ups and downs, illness and dislocated my ankle which really screwed it up. I weight 205 now and I could do with a bit more excercise at the weekends, I used to mountain bike allot but my suspension blew and its expensive to repair...I also got hooked on PC games which didn't help.

I KNOW! I've been on computers for around 7 years. I've been addicted since Day 1!
I think part of the charm is that you can connect without committment. If someone gets on your nerves....you simply pull the plug! You never have to worry about running into them at the mailbox or grocery store! lol!
