I have been watching a show on the Jim Jones stuff. My question is what did you think at the time and now?

Is that the same Jim Jones that was responsible for all those suicides so many years ago?

I didn't reply because I have no idea who Jim Jones is.

If it's the same guy I read about many years ago, he was a minister that got his flock to commit suicide...

[TKDLady]

That's him. He had them all drink a poisoned punch or something. I don't remember all the details. There just happened to be show on the other night about him and what happened. I was only half paying attention but I do remember hearing about all those people who drank the stuff and then died. Crazy nut.

I hated that he made all those people believe they had to commit suicide...was the number like 900 or something?

That I don't know. I just know he was nuts and he made lots of people think he was good and right.

That's just crazy. I don't know who's stupider, Jim Jones or the idiots that believed him.

Some people are easily brainwashed. If I was going to be mean I could say it at least cleaned up the gene pool. If you are that stupid should you reproduce?
