International Eating
You can pretty much get any food you want from any country regardless of where you live. BUT if you had to chose a country and could only eat the food which ORIGINATED in that country....what country would you prefer?
I guess this would be the ONE and ONLY time Japan or China would be considered a possibility for me.

the more I think about it, the more I realise that... I am East European and that's the type of food I like. French food is either too heavy or lacks taste.
Can I say Latin food, LOL? A mix of French for the sweets, Spanish for the cooking, Romanian for the use of spices, Portuguese for the wines ?

You would be cheating....but you can say it. I won't tell anyone!
You brought up some new ideas though. I was thinking Mexican, Italian, German, French, and Asian only. I've never thought about the other countries for food. HAHA!

I'd probably pick Indian. I like eastern food, plus it has the added bonus of being quite rich in the non-meaty department.

I'm not fond of curry and really don't like Indian food too much. Meanon took my daughter to an Indian resturaunt while she was in the UK though and she just loved it.

I am quite fond of Indian food, including the currys. And yes, I am one of the people who can handle the food and the spices really well. It is great food.
Much better than the Dutch kitchen (which still needs to be invented). The basis is: potatoes (pealed & cooked), gravy and a vegetable. Mix all three together, and you have a dutch dish. Works with almost everything.
