I'm moving out
I'm geting my own place, I am soooo happy, it's a miracle. I practically stubled upon the occasion, I met all criteria, my file was accepted and in one month exactly I'll be outta here!
It's a studio and I'll be living all alone. It's in Paris, in a very good neighbourhood, I'm 30' away from work and I'll be paying a lot for it.
I've got me an appartment, youhou!!!

Nope .
I have some peices of furniture, but not everything. I've bought a vacuum cleaner last week, though. I have a dresser and a small piece of furniture for my books, but that's all.
I still need a bed, a table and some chairs. I'll be needing most things related to the kitchen - except for plates and tea spoons, LOL! Thanks God for my savings.

Does you mom have some extra things she could give or lend to you?

Congradulations twinkle I'm happy for you.
So when is the house wrecker, err, I mean, house warming?

That is great news twinkle. Hope you will enjoy living there. And of course the shopping for the remaining furniture and appliances and such.

Congratulations, Twinkle, it's so much better being on your own than with the idiosyncrasies of roommates...

Mom's in Romania, Merika, I'm all alone here.
It doesn't bother me though,, I'll buy things as time goes on.
I bought a nice white cotton courtain some time ago all I need is a coloured one.
Ceiling - the appartment is all white, rather freshly painted - 2 years ago, I think. Wall cover - you've got me there, I need to buy some posters, probably some paintings and stuff.
The floor is wodden and I have the nicest blue carpet. The more I think about it, the more I realise it is a big step, actually .

That's one awesome idea, and one of the main reasons for moving in my own place: I want to be able to invite friends over, to have suppers, to watch dvds, to do stuff with my friends - like actually have a social life.
I'm a bit terrified bcause it is a big responsability, but I don't really have a choice. It's the best thing that could have happen to me.

You'll have to wait for a while, I move in in one month precisely - too long if you ask me!

Here's how to move:
Now: Go thru everything you have and get rid of anything you don't use or wear. Go thru all papers, junk drawers and anything else that is clutter....throw away as much as you can.
Later: Begin boxing everything you don't need to survive daily with. Tape the boxes shut....mark on the outside what they are.
Then: When moving day approaches, you won't feel all stressed out having to deal with all the stuff you forgot you had till you have to move it.
First move the stuff you need to survive daily with so you are comfortable.
Then begin opening the boxes one by one to set up your new home.
