It was awesome! We were supposed to have classes on an international management seminar at Georgetown University, but what actually happened is that we had teachers explaining us how some stuff is made the USA way.
I had some misconceptions, it's just... woow, different from what I've expected.
Anyway, except fot classes, at night we would go out and party and between the classes I would visit as much as I could.
I did make pictures... it's a long story, I just hope to have them soon!
It was the Cherry Blossom week end too - so all the National Mall seemed like a giant barbecue place. Lots and lots and lots of people, some standing in the sun, some visiting, and it was soooo hot! I stayed there 8 days, and got only one rainy day, I think I'm so fortunate.
I did all that with my French collegues - it was too funny! During the last evening together at the seminar, we went out at this bar called Tomb's, got a bit tipsy, started singing French songs (they made me sing Romanian ones too). The Americans there must have thought we were some sort of Barbarians, all screaming our lungs out - not the Marseillese, just... really dirty good-for-drinking kinda folk songs.
And after that we went at the port and everyone was so sad. It really touched me. I got to discover Washington and some of my collegues in the same time.
Some of my friends and I stayed an extra day - we booked a room for 5 (Three girls and 2 boys) ... yup, that calls for trouble! We were talking and laughing and got into pillow fighting and water spilling like we were some 5 years old!
And... in the middle of the night (around 4am) I get this phone call from ex who totally trashed his car. He was alright, but I was in no mood for playing games anymore. I still am angry at him, he calles me souless for not droping everything dead and running up to him. I just got home, washed my clothes and that's it!
Too bad I didn't get to meet Faye - Conner was throwing up a lot, poor thing. Faye, I hope he's alright - keep us posted.
Feel free to ask me stuff - btw, I ... hated the food

! Didn't go to Wendy's though...
