How many people have lost the car because of ice....

I lost mine i was driving home from work about 4 years ago and the roads were really icey and i was coming down a bank, hit some black ice, and i lost control of the car i hit a wall, then my car went sideways, then managed to turn on its roof and then it was sliding on its roof for about 600 yards, with hitting 3 kerbs on the way down.

I ended up with a broken ankle, when it got caught in between the clutch and brake pedal when i turned upside down.

The only time i drive now is in summer and only if i need to, it was a very unpleasent experince...i say o people i dont drive or do i dont own a car to get out of driving.

i grew up north on ontario where there is a ton of snow so i'm used to driving in the winter. luckily for me i've never had an accident because of the road conditions.

you're lucky you didn't get more hurt then a broken ankle!!! WOW!!

we dont get snow, we get ice and frost and occainsly snow lol, i had a cast on my leg for 8 weeks completley snapped my ankle it took the emergency servcies about 30 mins to get out me out of the car. but thats just my luck though

Hmm I rolled my brand new (2007) work truck last friday morning on the highway. Was doing 90 (gps said 93) in a 110 and hit black ice. Game over. Walked away without a scratch on me though.
