The average chemist makes around $75,000 My dad makes a bit more but thats cause he is one of the best.
Im really trying to not be like yeah he's done this and that and all.

I just found out yesterday that we get the bulk of our oil from Canada. I didn't even know Canada HAD oil....shows you how dumb I am. Anyway, the resource has only slightly been tapped. Apparently, it's the processing which is making it so expensive. I think we still pay almost a half as to what the Canadians pay....which is really a rip off. (I paid $2.09 over the weekend).

All in all though....the only way to get people to conserve it....is to make it more expensive. As long as people are purchasing large SUV's daily and I still see one person driving in a car to work, rather than sharing gas costs, I'm thinking it's still not being considered too expensive for consumers. (I plan to buy a full double cab truck (Ford) myself this summer.)

gas prices just went up in the last week here. we're paying 90.5 cents a littre. rumor is that it will go up to 1.00 by the summer. it's way too expensive!

Yeah im proud of him, he came from a family of 9 and did everything himself.

Yeah $75,000 os good, but with my business degree ill make that 5 years after i graduate, i start with a salary around $30,000 and can earn a few hundred thousand a year after i work my way up.
