Whenever I first logon to this site, it seems the "Off Topic" Category is where I check first (aside from staff areas).

Just out of curiousity, what part of this site do you troll first?

I usually go to the off topic first because that one's always got so many threads to answer to.

I really like this category because it never really allows for a heavy mood on this site. I honestly believe if it weren't for the Off Topic area, we could possibly have a darker site with a more ominous feel.

I firmly believe this is one of the healthiest feeling and vibrant websites I member at. Of course, my opinion may be slightly bias.

it's the lighter side of things. i love this category. i laugh in here a LOT. if this site was nothing but serious topics all the time, we'd be a depressed bunch of people.

This site rocks! I love it because we can be ourselves in here. it's like sitting at the kitchen table and gabbing about anything and everything under the sun. it's comfortable.

True enough, the other thing is that I believe the members feel more like friends than anonymous usernames with no meat to their bones. People here feel more dimensional and real somehow.

we get to know eachother through our posts here. it's okay to get personal in here and we do that without thinking twice about it. at least that's how it is for me as a member here.

It doesn't work so well for me because I don't always get a chance to answer all the posts I'd like to and it may take me a few visits to get to those older posts.

I most always go to "Off topic" first myself; and some times I start from the bottom just to see what's happening down there...
