i finally know what i want
today was an interesting day, everything came together, i made new friends(at the bar) i talked to my friend that is moving out here. I know that now all i want is to retire, im gonna invest every dollar i make, and meet my new goal of getting rich enoughto support myself so i dont have to work and can party all the time, lool, that might sound bad, but for me, im so socially reclusive that its probably better for me, and i didnt smoke, and i havnt in a month, which is good. i am happy for the first time in 11 months.

Keep up the good work and it's great to hear that you are happy! Eleven months is such a LONG time to go without happiness! For me even a day without happiness is too long....

Sounds great DA. A good thing you seem to be on your way to kick the smoking habit as well.

I need to do that, but it's hard when you spend at a minimum $200 when you go out :?
Good for you though!

Saving money is great and it is important for your retirement but you need to live and enjoy life in the mean time. Unless you win the lottery you will still be working for quite a while (unless you are very good at investing) before you retire and you should enjoy those years too. You can't take it with you when you die.

$240 last night AND I found 50 at the bar...
I'm cursed with a high tolerance for everything, so when people are wobbly after a 6 pack, I'm stone sober. Add to the fact that drinks are 6-7 bucks a pop, plus tip and buying other people drinks - it's expensive. Hell last weekend I spent $700.
