I can't believe people...
Last night I took my family to Lonestar Steakhouse to celebrate one of my children's birthday. Upon informing the waitress of the event, I was told that they no longer sing Happy Birthday. The waitress then went on to detail why. It seems a family went there for dinner and another family had someone with a birthday, when the crew came out singing Happy Birthday, it woke up the first family's baby - that family then contacted the corporate office and complained about their child being woken. I mean, OMFG how DARE someone have a birthday while their baby sleeps?!? Get f'ing real. Not only is the place loud in general, but add cellphone users yelling their conversations, people watching sports, etc.
If you would - please go to this link and express your displeasure to the Corporate office.

I wrote them for you, I worked there when I was 18, when the kitchen was backed up they used to make us line-dance to distract the customers of the wait, do they still do that? I haven't been there in years

That's absolutely rediculous. If your that dumb to have a sleeping baby in a busy restaurant and are suprised that they are awoken then you deserve to have your ass removed.

It's almost as bad as suing someone because you slipped on their part of the sidewalk in the middle of a snowstorm. I hate to say this, but much of these stupid cases that go to court happen only in America.
Hope that didn't come off as badly as it sounded.

lol, that reminds me of the Polish man who hurt himself while raking leaves. He lost his balance and fell out of the tree.
