I was in
I was in an a car accident last night and it was not my fault thank god.A guy in a midsize truck hit me in the back of my 2005 Ford Focus I bought 2 weeks ago,the only damage was the bumper and scratches on the trunk lid.I was angry at first because he denied it was his fault. The police did find a half full of Jack Daniels whiskey inside his truck and was arrested on the spot.He is going to be charged with DWI,having an open recepticle and no insurance.Luckily there were 3 witnesses seeing him drinking that bottle of Jack Daniels and he denied that also. This hapened when I was a full stop and he did not see that, runing into my car and is also charged with failure to stop. The adjuster comes out on Monday to see the damage to my car to do an estimate. My husband said I can borrow his car when it goes in for the repairs since he knows I do fill it up when it is empty and it is in one piece when he gets it back.I am ok and was checked out walking away.

Re: I was in
Ai. But good that everyone escaped without physical injuries. Glad there were a couple of witnesses around as well, so the case against this guy will be done in a proper way.
Hopefully the car gets fixed soon as well.

Re: I was in
Hopefully it will get fixed this upcoming week and the bumper needs replaced,a long crack in it which is not worth fixing.I was told this was the guy's 3rd offense for DWI and will go to jail for it when convicted.

Re: I was in
Third offense? He seems to have a bad habit. 3-5 years would give him plenty of time to think about it.

Re: I was in
This is his 3rd offense and his mother told me this since I work on her car where I work at.The first offense,he got a fine with his license taken away for 6 monthes. The second offense, recieved 90 days in jail and license taken away for a year.He does not have it now,the judge whom is strict told him that he does not get it back.He does have a bad habit and I remember saying I love booze and is never going to stop
