Actually there's been very little in the way of fights, in fact there's been none of them here. There was one or two topics that went a bit sidewase but they were taken care of.
yeah i dont go into the Politics head of the woods cuz i no nuthing about politics ... and in politics someone allways dis agrees with u no matter WHAT!!! but i will say welcome again
Everyone has a political opinion so their allowed and encouraged to express it. It's when members start insulting and belittling other members that my blood starts to boil. Fortunately we've seen precious little of that to date. I assure you it will remain that way too.
I'm not opposed to the presentation of opinion based on personal experience and derived from "common sense."
However, the presentation of a "fact" that is based on what is actually the slanted opinion gleened from some liberal/conservative.org website to paint a forum blue or red is more than misleading: it is incredibly boring.
More than boring, is the annoying habit of posting multitudes of new threads for the purpose of propagandizing using little more than title lines and web-links.
Finally most irritating is to belittle others as "irrelevant" for having common sense solutions that confict with the latest report generated by Michael Moore or Michael Savage.
Samson.....your post reminds me of a favorite Ronald Reagan quote:
It's not that liberals are ignorant....they just know so much which isn't so.

That's not always true. Actually, a good friend with an opposing view point would never change my personal view.....but it allows me to see that we are all just people with a view. Someone doesn't have to share mine to be a wonderful person.
The only time it annoys me is when someone thinks they are more intelligent or scholarly than anyone with an opposing view. I've worked with men who never recieved a high school diploma but had more common sense and intelligence than most of Washington and all of the media put together.
