mismatched socks or shoes? Did you notice it before you left home? If you didn't; did someone notice and comment? Did you feel badly all day or did you laugh/shrug it off?

Ya, but mismatched still goes unnoticed, because it is just slightly off. Plus I wear jeans, so you barely see the socks anyway.

I once put on my workingboots on the wrong way, so left on right foot and right on the left foot. But it was on a pitchblack cloudy still dark wintermorning in the middle of a 3 mile long garbage dump site where I was working I noticed it after the steel noses started to cut into my skin.

Yes socks and occasionally something inside out - usually laughed off
