to go about finding someone if you only know their first name and where they were from??...without getting a Private Detective...

There is a girl whom I've thought about on and off for years that was very special to me that I would like to find just to know how she is doing and if she's okay...and to tell her how much she meant to me!

that's hard. without any last name, address or even birthdate, that would be hard to do. do you know her parents? any member of her family that you could get in touch with so they can link you and her up?

Seriously, I have no idea how you would go about finding out a last name, especially since for women they can change thru the years ( I have several). Do you have an joint friends at all who may have kept in touch with her?

She came in and out of my life very quickly but made a huge impression on me for various reasons! Yes, I do know some people in common, but I don't know their last names, either. I know one lady in town that knew who the person I'm talking about is, but she's been divorced and I don't know her new married name and what's worse, I don't see her anymore since I don't work downtown...

There HAS to be a way....and since she's on my mind so much...I'm going to keep trying one way or another.

I was able to locate a man for my girlfriend who hadn't seen him for over forty years if not longer...

This may be harder, but "where there's a will, there's a way"!

Actually she is! She has been on my mind so much lately and I always feel if someone is in your mind a lot; something is going on with them, especially if there is a deep connection. Even though I didn't know her long, there were some very touching and deep moments with each other that are strongly in my mind.

This is why I can relate with what Weiser posts about because I always had a girlfriend in the picture from the time I was 17, straight through 'til 27 or 28. When I was in my late teens was the worst period for me because I had women all over the place and I wasn't very kind to any of them.

Marnie happened to be a nice girl that I dumped because she had asthma (what a horrible excuse), not to mention, she found me in bed with another woman. It was by far the worst thing I've ever done to someone and I still feel bad about it to this day.

I'd love to help you mim but I have no idea what you can do. The only thing I can possibly suggest is talk to our cousins and see if one of them has a high school yearbood. Since they were all from Trail it may be possible that they all attended the same high school.

Other than that, I know she lived somewhere near the military buildings, back in behind them or slightly below towards the end of the cliff.
