Yes, most people do! We still do even though the boys are no longer home, just my husband and I. I don't know if we'll have Turkey this weekend as my husband is the Chef.

Long weekend has been kind of uneventful so far as everyone is out of town like every other long weekend. I did go for beers on a patio yesterday afternoon with Amy the australian which was really nice. Got to sit in the sun and enjoy the warm weather.

Tonight I am heading out to Richmond Hill and going to my sister's boyfriends house for dinner. That's going to be quite the gathering too as their family is huge. Tomorrow I am heading over to my friend's place for dinner there. Should be about 14 of us which will be a nice turn out. Speaking of tomorrow, I should probably head out to the beer store (yes, that is what it is called here in ontario - "The Beer Store" lol) as it will be closed tomorrow. Tomorrow is supposed to be really warm too which is great. I think they are forcasting 24 or 25.

I had my daughter this weekend and she was pretty much confined to the couch because she's suffering the flu or something. She had no energy at all to even sit up this weekend so I pretty much took care of her the whole time.

The good thing is though that I got an extra day out of the weekend with my daughter which I wouldn't normally have on Thanksgiving long weekend.
