I wish I would've thought about it Star....you could have made one of those ticker bands for a New Year count down earlier this month. They are just SO CUTE!

They are cute! I love these ticker bands. I could only fit 2 of them on my signature though. wonder why? At canadian parents online forum, I 've got all 4. It says that we can write up to 1000 letters in the signature but I don't think it really goes that high. Duke??

Happy New Year everyone from Paris and Ken.
As for the sig, it will allow up to 1000 characters which I need to reduce but only up to a certain filesize for images. The reason for this is that many people link to offsite images and if the imagehost's bandwidth is close to quota or experiencing slowdowns then it affects this sites speed. I'm not sure if you've noticed star but there have been a few times when your .png images haven't even loaded.

Is that why it wouldn't show the image? wow! I learned something new today. It all makes sence though. Should I remove them then?

No of course not. I only pointed it out because you ask. I think it's very touching that you choose to use them so I'd hate for you to get rid of them due to slow loadtimes (which isn't too frequent).
I don't think it's really affecting this sites speed either so I'd continue to use them.

I got MORE spyware on my puter due to a couple of the Smiley sites I was using....until I've decided not to go there anymore. I've also noticed whenever I've downloaded any images off the net is when I get those bug error messages. I don't know if they are related to problems....but I had to quit using them....which is sad for me.

The smiley sites are full of spyware which is why you'll notice I never use them. There are a few good ones like smileycentral that are pretty clean but all the highrez smiley sites are loaded with crap that counts every key stroke you make on your computer.

Happy New Year, all!
I went to a pantomime, worth it to re-discover a childhood Lancastrian saying I'd forgotten all about : Ecky Thump Go on: Barbie, Chloe, Jackson - you lot love to guess the meaning of new expressions. A New Year conundrum for you.
