Happy may 24!
I'm about to leave for Toronto and I'm sooooo pumped. If last night was any indication on how this weekend will be, I'm going to have a blast!!!
Spent last night with a case of beer, a hot tub, Jessica and good music I just got home about a half hour ago and I'm going to go pack right now. Tonight I see my sister and her new place. I also get to see some friends that I haven't seen in almost 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow - I get to see the #1 DJ in the WORLD - TIESTO!!!!!! Oh man, I have wanted to see him since I was like 18. It's going to be amazing. Monday will be my recoup day, I'll probably need it as the show will go to like 6-7am!
Peace all, I'm OUT!

Tiesto is in fact Dutch.
I knew he was considered to be good, but not that he was considered to be that good.

For the last several years it hasn't failed to rain on the long weekend and some areas are experiencing floods or flood warnings...our Creek here is rushing madly and getting higher and higher....the heavy downpours aren't helping any...
The forecaster claimed it was only going to let up for today here, and more rain tomorrow...
My husband, bless his heart, is not a worrywart like me at times like these, so I'm going to follow his lead and see what happens and adjust accordingly...
Anyway, I hope all of you Canadians have a great long weekend! Wishing the same to Americans for Memorial Day!!

The article I submitted and lost out there somewhere in Cyberspace about Memorial Day was very interesting. Since I missed posting about "International Day of Families" for May 15th, I thought I would get ahead and post a History of Memorial Day which, I believe, is next Monday! I thought that Memorial Day and Veteran's Day was the same and learned that it's not.

I'm grateful that the rain stayed away until I was able to finish planting all the flowers and then mowing the lawn; a moment ago it started to pour...

We didn't have any rain. It was just SUPER hot at 95 degrees. Since we were at my parent's house...we basically stayed indoors. We watched movies and ate alot of food.

Tiesto is about the most popular of the Dutch Trance DJs here too. I don't mind the odd song but I don't like it enough to tolerate a whole night of it. Everyone I know who is really into that style on music has first fallen in love with it whilst on E. I sometimes wonder whether that's why they love it so, it reminds them of their mis-spent youth . I went to see Layo and Bushwacker in NY, do you know them Weiser? Slightly more chilled out than trance. It was fun but once they really got going I only lasted about 1 hour

Re:
I won't even go into how I was able to dance for 8+ hours straight....but no I haven't heard of them. I will check them out however.
Reviews from the show at the docks are calling it his best performace in YEARS from many people who have seen him multiple times at multiple venues. I'm glad I got to see him at this one.
Once I find a place to host my pics, I will put them up (they are all over 2.5mb each though).
There are a few vids on youtube.com and as soon as I find the links for them, I'll put them up aswell....Words cannot describe how Tiesto, and the other DJs were. It was mindblowing and just so emotional.
